It has been a couple of years since Samsung launched its mobile payment service called Samsung Pay. The main one to note is that Samsung Pay will not utilise the Magnetic Secure Transmission feature that's available in the US.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy C10 will also reportedly come with Bixby, Samsung's newly unveiled artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that was debuted on the Galaxy S8. The first device to get Google's latest operating system is the Galaxy A5 (2016) that happened in Russian Federation earlier this month. More banks like HSBC, First Direct, M&S and American Express would be joining the list soon. But the Galaxy S8 is not the only smartphone designed by Samsung that could carton this year ... However, now it looks like Samsung is going to continue putting it in a lot of their future devices as well. The device's internal storage can also expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.

Although the unit is only available in a few countries right now, new reports reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S8 has sold more than 5 million units.

Accordingly, analysts are also casting a brighter outlook over Samsung's performance for the April-June period, with some expecting its operating profit in the mobile business to jump twofold on-quarter.

The clever payment solution enables Samsung smartphone and smartwatch owners to pay at contactless terminals by tapping their device.

Samsung Pay "will continue to expand its partnership ecosystem to provide greater flexibility, access and choice for customers in the United Kingdom", the company adds. So we're stuck with a boring old NFC-based system that probably isn't much different to Android Pay.

While the roll out of Samsung Pay has been extremely slow one would expect it to gather momentum considering Samsung has a majority of the Android market-share in Australia.
