A federal judge in NY has revoked the bail of former pharmaceutical CEO Martin Shkreli after he offered to pay $5,000 for a strand of Hillary Clinton's hair, follicle included. They said Shkreli was a danger to the community after he offered $5,000 to anyone who could grab one of Hillary Clinton's hairs.

His court case took a shock turn Wednesday night when Brooklyn Federal Judge Kiyo Matsumoto revoked his $5 million bail.

Shkreli - who hiked the price of an AIDS drug from $13.50 to $750 a pill when he ran Turing Pharmaceuticals - was convicted in August of securities fraud and a related conspiracy count. "He should apologize to the government, the Secret Service and Hillary Clinton". The judge characterized the post as a solicitation to assault another person for $5,000 and revoked Shkreli's $5 million bail.

A USA judge has sentenced a businessman and a drug trafficker to a businessman who is accused of fraud after appearing in a publication on the social Facebook site for a reward of $ 5,000 for anyone who can bring him "hair" from the newspaper, the Financial Times reported.

"We believe the court arrived at the wrong decision, but she's the judge and right now we will have to live with this decision", he said. Sorry you didn't get Hillary Clinton's hair for whatever perverted reason you wanted it, but I hope you enjoy your new home behind bars. Now his defense tried to say that, look, other politicians like Donald Trump have said terrible things and they didn't have their bail revoked, and needless to say that argument didn't work.

Prosecutors pursued the option of having Shkreli's bail revoked as soon as Shkreli posted statuses about Clinton on social media. At the hearing in a federal court in Brooklyn, the judge sentenced that Shkreli had violated his bail on a securities fraud conviction with a post on social media that might represent a threat to Hilary Clinton.

Shkreli said in a letter to Matsumoto on Tuesday that his Facebook post was meant as satire.

Shkreli had claimed after the fact that his post was satire, but he followed it up with another request. "There's a risk that somebody may take him up on it". Shkreli, he said, deserved another chance.

"What's amusing about that", Matsumoto responded. "I don't think stupid makes you violent".

"Another example of political hyperbole is when President Donald Trump, as a candidate, caused a controversy past year by implying that "Second Amendment people" could prevent former Secretary Clinton from abolishing their right to bear arms".
