Fresh information that has been leaked by well-known tipster Evan Blass reveals that the upcoming Krypton phone may debut as BlackBerry Motion. The fingerprint scanner is located right underneath the Home button, which could turn out to be just a touch, and hardware.

Below the bezel sits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB type-C port and a speaker. The device is also said to be IP67-water and dust-resistant so you don't have to worry about some water or particles getting inside your phone.

Separately, a report from Engadget states that the phone would get the IP67 rating and the battery will run for almost 26 hours "mixed use". The phone could boast a 4GB of RAM and it is reported to sport a 4000mAh battery.

BlackBerry Motion - previously known as Krypton, already has the WiFi and Bluetooth certification.

Krypton will a fullscreen display and no QWERTY keyboard, unlike the BlackBerry KEYone which came before it. It is not yet known when and where the BlackBerry Motion will release first, or how much it will cost. On the security front, BlackBerry is not expected to make any compromises clocking the same security features as in KeyOne in the Motion as well.

Unlike the recently-launched KEYone, the new smartphone doesn't have a physical keyboard.

Following Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin or IFA 2017, there have been a number of rumors which suggested that BlackBerry was prepping up to release a brand-new all-touchscreen smartphone. It's similar to what we see from other manufacturers most of the times. We have seen an alleged image of its rear panel a couple of weeks ago, showing a brushed aluminum metal bar on the top of the device with a relatively small camera sensor component on it.
