Bucks Reportedly Aquiring Bledsoe

NBA Rumors: Suns Trading Eric Bledsoe To Bucks For Greg Monroe, First-Rounder Phoenix Suns Agree To Trade Eric Bledsoe: Report

The Suns and Bucks are "finalizing" a trade that would send Eric Bledsoe to Milwaukee, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe report.

The Phoenix Suns have reportedly agreed to trade Eric Bledsoe to the Milwaukee Bucks. Monroe played five games for the Bucks this season, tallying 6.8 points and 5.0 boards, but he did not suit up in their last four games. The NBA fined the eight-year NBA veteran $10,000 for the tweet.

Bledsoe, 27, averaged 21.3 points, 6.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds in 66 games last season before the being shut down for the remainder of the season.

Bledsoe would join a Bucks backcourt with 2016 Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, Matthew Dellavedova and Jason Terry.

Adding Bledsoe will take some of the focus off of do-it-all All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is the Bucks' primary ball-handler.

Monroe averaged 15.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for Detroit and Milwaukee from 2011-12 through 2015-16.

Monroe has been restricted to just five games this season and hasn't played since October 26 because of a left calf strain. Phoenix will receive Greg Monroe, a first-round pick and a second-round pick in return, according to Wojnarowski and Lowe.

The Suns have until December 6 to turn James' contract into a full-fledged National Basketball Association deal - making it possible if they involve different pieces along with Monroe. They also could have as many as three first-round picks next season. The first-round pick would be lottery protected as well. The Suns get Milwaukee's second-round pick next year if in the range of 48-60 overall.
