This is a beta app, and Google notes that there could be some bugs and issues that arise while using the app. It can also help spot duplicate files and delete the unwanted copies. The app serves several key functions, including working as a storage manager to organize files and free up space. A listing for this new app appeared on the Google Play Store briefly - before being taken down.

AirDrop is one of those Apple-only features that has made its devices extremely useful. It will also show users how much space they've used on their phone, automatically recognize apps that aren't used all that often, and recommend ways to free up space. Below these tabs. Moreover, they can send and receive files via Bluetooth to other people that also have the Files Go app. Users will also see quick links for cleaning application caches and deleting any photos, videos, or applications that Files Go thinks you should remove.

Another cool thing about the Files Go app is that it will allow you to transfer files wirelessly. The company had been preparing to announce its new file manager for Android later in December, but those plans were thwarted earlier this week when the app was spotted in the wild during testing. We are not sure of all of the features yet, but we got a glimpse of what is in store thanks to the test release on Google Play. The UI shows a radar-like interface to initiate transfers between two devices - with the caveat that both devices needs Files Go to be installed.

Files Go may be headed to emerging markets, where internet connectivity is still not up to par with developed markets.

The app is available now for anyone who wants to give it a shot. Like the similar app AirDrop by rival Apple s app that runs only on iOS smartphones, it will operate through contacts.

There are no details about when the app will be released.
