She talks about her experiences in a new book called "Fierce".

Raisman told "60 Minutes" she was 15 when she was first treated by Dr. Larry Nassar, who spent more than two decades working with athletes at USA Gymnastics.

Last month, McKayla Maroney, 21, detailed how Nassar began molesting her at the age of 13 at a USA national team training camp.

More than 140 women are now suing Nassar and his former employer, Michigan State University. Why not look at what about the culture? Raisman is the second US gymnast in the past month to accuse Nassar of abuse, with McKayla Maroney making similar claims in mid-October.

In a television preview released Friday of the "60 Minutes" interview, Raisman said she didn't know why it took so long for allegations against Nassar to come forward. He is now in jail after pleading guilty to federal child pornography charges in July.

Nassar, who was involved with USA Gymnastics for almost three decades as a trainer and national medical coordinator, already faces 22 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and could receive a sentence of life in prison. In an interview with "60 Minutes" that will air Sunday, a clearly agitated Raisman spoke out against not only Nassar but the environment created by USA Gymnastics.

However, Nassar also faces a handful of other criminal charges stemming from the accusations.

Aly Raisman, 23, won six medals including three gold medals at the London Olympics (2012) and Rio (2016). In a statement to "60 Minutes", it added that "USA Gymnastics is very sorry that any athlete has been harmed". Attorneys have said that more women are expected to join the lawsuits.

It is also reported he still faces 33 charges of criminal sexual conduct in MI.

"I see these young girls that come up to me, and they ask for pictures or autographs, whatever it is". I can't. every time I look at them, every time I see them smiling, I just think.

Nassar is already facing 22 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and could receive a sentence of life in prison.

The former athlete, who claims to be "angry", wants to "just bring change" so that young gymnasts "never have to live this again".

The scandal in the sport led to the resignation of USA Gymnastics chief executive Steve Penny in March of this year.

In December 2016, the Indianapolis Star newspaper reported that 368 children and teenage members of clubs affiliated with the Gymnastics Federation had been victims of sexual assault over the past 20 years.
