While Rotten Tomatoes aggregates and averages out a film's reviews from critics to determine its Tomatometer score, a film's CinemaScore comes directly from the film fans themselves. Early reviews appeared to be very mixed-praising good character dynamics but slamming the movie's lackluster villain, the relatively unknown and unimpressive Steppenwolf. Does this mean Warner Bros.is nervous about the score?

As promised the now infamous Rotten Tomatoes score was made available during the latest edition of See It/Skip It, a web show hosted by Jacqueline Coley and Segun Oduolowu where the two offers their opinions on what's hot and what's not in the world of Hollywood movies and TV shows. There is often a strong correlation between the length of time between an embargo lift date and the Rotten Tomatoes score of a movie. Several hours before the information's official release, it was actually leaked by the site's app.

The DC films have enjoyed both Rotten Tomatoes success (this summer's Wonder Woman earned 92 percent) and suffered low points (2016's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice's 27 percent and Suicide Squad's 26 percent).

Justice League has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder, with the story by Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder, the screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.

Rotten Tomatoes revealed its rating for "Justice League" on Thursday, the day before the film's opening, as part of Rotten Tomatoes' new "See It/Skip It" Facebook show.

Justice League is in theaters now. It is important to note, however, that as more reviews come in and are tabulated, there is still a good chance that 43% won't be the final score for the ensemble movie, although, admittedly it is hard to gauge whether it will go up or down as of the moment.

But it must also be pointed out that Warner Bros. has a minority stake in Rotten Tomatoes, and if the studio is indeed nervous about bad reviews, it would be in their best financial interest to delay the RT score reveal as long as possible.
